Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification from a recognized University/Institution approved by the Government of India on or before 21 July 2026.

IT Officer (Scale I)

Candidates should possess any one of the following:

  • Four-year Engineering/Technology Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Electronics & Instrumentation.

OR

  • Postgraduate Degree in the above disciplines.

OR

  • Graduation with DOEACC 'B' Level qualification.

Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)

Four-year Degree in any of the following:

  • Agriculture
  • Horticulture
  • Animal Husbandry
  • Veterinary Science
  • Dairy Science
  • Fishery Science
  • Pisciculture
  • Agricultural Marketing
  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Food Technology

  • Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.

HR/Personnel Officer

  • Two-year Full-time PG Degree or PG Diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HR, HRD, Labour Law, or Social Work.

Marketing Officer

  • Graduation

AND

  • Two-year Full-time MBA (Marketing), MMS (Marketing), PGDM, PGPM, PGDBA, or PGDBM with Marketing specialization. 

Experience

Salary

Selected candidates appointed as Specialist Officer (Scale-I) will receive the following pay scale:

In addition to the basic pay, officers will receive applicable allowances and other benefits according to the rules of the respective participating bank.

 IBPS SO Selection Process

The selection process for IBPS CRP SPL-XVI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026 consists of four stages and each step is important.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

Candidates who successfully submit their online applications will appear for the Online Preliminary Examination.

Stage 2: Main Examination

Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Examination will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

Stage 3: Interview

Candidates shortlisted in the Main Examination will be called for a Common Interview coordinated by the Nodal Bank on behalf of the participating banks.
